Yognidra technique (in its present form) is developed by Swami Satyanand Saraswati affiliated to Bihar School of Yoga, Munger and is derived from the esoteric system of Nyasa, as described in the tantric scriptures. This method is a systematic approach for consciously moving into the deeper realms of personality. It removes fatigue, improves emotional stability and eases mental tensions associated with any patient suffering from a prolonged illness. It helps revitalize and reorganize one’s life, no matter what the ailment is.
In ‘Shoonya’ meditation, one is able to dissolve into nothingness. It enables a person to free himself of restrictions of body and mind and brings peace. It involves absolute concentration on the physiological and psychological experiences one encounters in the process. Initially, just after six months of practicing ‘Yoganidra’, I could experience a steady progress which was exciting and motivating. I was independent of steroids and slowly back to my regular energetic routine of handling my plywood business. The one constant from the day I started learning yoga was to keep practicing it very regularly without missing it even for a single day. Diet too played an important role in shaping what I am today; a fit and healthier myself after facing years of agony and despair which almost took my life.
Yoga is a system of living with sense and science of the realization of ultimate values and altruistic missions of life.
Yoga evolves a harmonious order in mind, matter and man.
Yoga is an absolute departure from basic animal tendencies.
Yoga is a state of aloofness from the artificialities of life and relationship.
Yoga is not an ancient myth buried in oblivion. It is the most valuable inheritance of the present. It is the essential need of today and the culture of tomorrow!
